Random crashing/reboting

this is really getting anoying today.... I have had 5 crashes and the comps not much over a year old and been doing it almost daily since i started using it, Its out of warranty now. Since i started recording on sept 28th i have had 16 crashes.

3 blue screen crashes
5 crazy screens
4 random rebots(no warning or shut down just blank screen and restarts)
4 frezzes

1. sept 28 0941 blue screen
2. sept 30 1342 reboot
3. oct 1 1225 crazy screen
4. oct 1 1445 blur screen (Irql not less than) oxooooooooA
5. Oct 3 0957 crazy screen
6. oct 3 1034 complete freeze
7. Oct 3 1647 screen crazy
8. Oct 4 2000 Reboot
9. Oct 4 2222 Reboot
10. Oct 5 0537 crazy screen
11. Oct 5 2123 Blue screen (System service exception) (complete dumping which is rare)
12. Oct 6 1353 freeze
13. Oct 6 1418 freeze
14. Oct 6 1530 freeze
15. Oct 6 1741 screen crazy
16. Oct 6 2022 rebot

Any ideas as to what could be causing this? I run Win 7 home prem on a upgraded vista(free upgrade) and it randomly reboots with just vista as well

Sounds suspiciously like a hardware failure.

Don't know if you want to go do this path but do a clean install of Windows 7 not an upgrade from Vista.

Also could be bad RAM. You could try removing all of your RAM and just put back in two at a time to see if the problem stops. You would have to run with less RAM for a while and it may take a while to determine which one is bad.

Only other thing I can think of is heat buildup. Does the problem occure after the computer has been on for a while or do you get it even right after you power up after it's been off (everything is still cold)?

I run a "stock" Acer Aspire M5800 (Plus a rear fan), i cant do just a Win 7 install i have to format back to vista then upgrade:/

Not sure how to get my hardware list.

Edit: and as for what i am doing when it does this, I could be playing Wow to just sitting on my desktop doing nothing or even AFK and it will crash.

Nope, i only alt tab with no full screen games going. I have a ATI radeon 4350 HD 512 mb card for vidieo

My screen did this before my video card bit the dust in my old computer. :/

This is a video card fault. You might need to replace it.

I just went with a good hard look at both my 4 ram cards and my video card, All have no outward signs of faulty or damag, the video card had some dust on it and some on the connector to the video card, all gone now. but ill be keeping an eye out.
