APPOINTMENT OF FLEET ADMIRAL COSTELLO

Please let the record show that as of the thirtieth of April in the year two thousand and eleven, Fleet Admiral TParis has resigned his position as the Commanding Officer of the United Federation of Planets. Per the vote, and on behalf, of the Council of Admirals, I, the Judge Advocate General, hereby announce the appointment of Rear Admiral Costello to the rank of Fleet Admiral and Commanding Officer of the United Federation of Planets.

Rear Admiral Costello, please repeat after me:

I, COSTELLO, do solemnly, sincerely and truly declare and affirm that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United Federation of Planets against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same as well as the fleet; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the Office on which I am about to enter.
